Before planning your trip and picking your courses and
hotels, LasVegasGolf.com provides a vast amount of information about the many
options available. The long list of course reviews is both fair and informative. The staff of knowledgeable writers gives an honest assessment of Las Vegas' signature courses in addition to detailing layouts in the surrounding area. Reviews are also available for destinations such as Reno, Laughlin, Henderson, Mesquite, the Red Rock Corridor, Carson Valley and Tahoe. Photo galleries of about two dozen courses allow you to get a solid grasp of the different settings to better determine which course is best suited for your game and group. The newest feature, a podcast called LasVegasGolf.com On the Air, debuted in February. Troy Anderson, director of sales and marketing at Siena Golf Club and Arroyo Golf Club at Red Rock Country Club, joined host Dave Berner on the podcast, and talked about the two popular Las Vegas golf courses. The show will bring golfers up to date on all the top golf courses in Las Vegas, Henderson, Lake Las Vegas and more. Berner and his guests discuss which Vegas-area courses are in top shape, great stay-and-play promotions, top deals on greens fees and more. This new addition will only help enhance the experience of visitors to the site. LasVegasGolf.com is no slouch when it comes to partnering with quality courses. Among the layouts featured on the site are premier places like Arroyo Golf Club, Badlands Golf Club, Cascata, Rio Secco and TPC Las Vegas. The Arnold Palmer-designed Arroyo Golf Club at Red Rock opened in 2003 and is the centerpiece of the Red Rock Country Club. Red Rock delighted not just with its well-manicured fairways and greens and stellar service, but also because it gives daily-fee golfers a chance to live in style and experience a day in a private club atmosphere. Johnny Miller's Badlands Golf Club was born in the midst of both the Las Vegas population boom and area golf course explosion. The Badlands features 27 holes made up of three nine-hole layouts named Diablo, Desperado and Outlaw. Badlands is the epitome of what a desert golf course should be. You frequently have to carry the ball over the rugged desert terrain and, to score well, have to place the ball in the proper portion of the fairway. Designed by renowned architect Rees Jones, Cascata opened in 2000 and is already celebrated as one of the finest designs in the world. The par-72 course provides stunning vistas at every turn, including a 3,600-foot peak at Red Mountain, lush fairways, lakes and streams. It's no wonder Sports Illustrated called Cascata "golf's hidden treasure." Home to the Butch Harmon Golf School, Rio Secco can play to an amazing 7,400 yards from the tips and will give low-handicappers the challenge of their lives. This Henderson course opened in 1997 to immediate acclaim from golf's most prestigious magazines. It was named one of "America's 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses" by GolfDigest and has been voted the No. 1 public access course in Nevada by the Las Vegas PGA membership poll. Rounding out the stellar group is the TPC Las Vegas. Designed by Bobby Weed and Raymond Floyd, this 7,063-yard layout capitalizes on the beauty of the surrounding mountains and canyons and captures the glamour of the Vegas skyline to make one of the most stunning golf courses in the city. Opened in 1996, TPC Las Vegas has hosted Champions Tour events, an indication it has the teeth to present a challenge.
LasVegasGolf.com also specializes in creating outings for
